Operation Super Solvers!

Columbus State University faculty volunteers are creating this half-day,
weeklong summer camp designed for children completing the 5th grade who
may have missed out on many hands-on, engaging classroom activities because
of the pandemic. Our goal is to get children ready to excel in middle school
math!

The camp has limited seats due to safety guidelines.

This camp will consist of:
• Fun, hands-on activities, children’s literature, and escape-room style games that fill knowledge gaps and make new math connections
• Research-based teaching methods that improve self-confidence in doing math
• Engaging problems that ignite students’ interest in solving math puzzles

The camp cost will be only $75 (scholarships available)
which covers snacks and programming from 9:00 a.m. - noon, June 7-11th, 2021.

Campers will be welcomed after 8:30 a.m. each day at Frank Brown Hall on the
River Park Campus of Columbus State University at 1127 Broadway. Pick-up time is at noon each day.
