Developing Inclusive Practices (DIP) - Accessible Course Design 2 ( Must attend SIP prior to DIP) In-Person
Take a COOL DIP into accessible course design. Supportive Inclusive Practices is a prerequisite for DIP.
The course addresses the topics:
- Techniques for designing accessible CougarVIEW course pages, Office documents, and multimedia
- Conversion of accessible documents to PDF
- Accessibility evaluation of external websites and applications
- Accessibility remediation of course syllabus
Course Objectives:
- Apply the essential Columbus State University online course accessibility guidelines
- Design accessible CougarVIEW course pages
- Design accessible Word documents and PowerPoint presentations
- Design or select accessible multimedia
- Convert accessible documents to PDF
- Initiate accessibility remediation of course syllabus
